Problem to be Solved: 50-year-old concrete slab with elevated RH readings needing multiple repairs
Unique Characteristics: 50-year-old slab, elevated RH readings, multiple repairs, and pour backs
Solution: Contractor used complete KOSTER Moisture Control System to repair concrete slab, create a vapor barrier, and create a smooth level surface to apply finish flooring.
Installation Details: Existing glue had to be removed from the surface using a grinder. The concrete was then shot blasted to a ICRI CSP 3 profile. KOSTER VAP I® 2000 was then installed and followed by KOSTER VAP I® 06 Primer, KOSTER SC, and KOSTER SL Premium.
